KeepLife 2020
The brand KeepLife was born in 2017 and was licensed and recognised as an industrial invention made by the Neapolitan Pietro Petrillo. KeepLife is a composite material, malleable and self-hardening. It is produced using nutshells, chestnuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachious and peanuts, to which they add a binder with no toxic substances, solvents and formaldehyde…
“When we eat peanuts, peanuts, walnuts, we create a tactile relationship with the shells. With the project for KeepLife I wanted to establish the same feeling: a collection of knobs and handles ready to be touched. The different shapes and sizes create an Architectural skyline applicable to all types of furniture doors as a replacement for plastic. The aesthetics of the KeepLife material are reminiscent of a crunchy, hence the name Crunchy .. “ MRI
