“The project for FIM began as a challenge: to reinterpret an existing umbrella system from the catalogue and transform them into luminous elements, capable of redefining space through texture, colour and light.

We thus designed a fabric that dialogue with natural and artificial luminosity, creating evocative atmospheres. Strawberry collection has an imprecise and dynamic texture, which follows the intensity of the light and gives the sensation of being under a starry sky.

The distinctive element is the fusion of fabric and structure: each parasol lights up with adjustable intensity, transforming itself into a contemporary lantern and the colour of the fabrics also extends to the pole and base, creating a monolithic object. They are no longer simple shadow structures, but sources of light that transform space into a dreamlike landscape, in which the boundary between matter and immateriality dissolves”.
